Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Definitions

“RAW Workshop” / “RAW” / “Seller”: refers to RAW Workshop Ltd., the company supplying the goods.

“Customer” / “Client” / “Buyer”: refers to the purchaser of goods and/or services from RAW Workshop.
-
“Goods”: includes standard and bespoke furniture products for indoor and/or outdoor commercial use.
-
“Order”: refers to the formal request for goods as confirmed by RAW’s Order Acknowledgement.
-
“Bespoke”: refers to any product manufactured to a customer's specific design, dimensions, or finish outside the standard range.
2. Scope
-
These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales of goods and services by RAW Workshop, including both standard product lines and bespoke/custom furniture, for indoor and outdoor commercial applications.
3. Quotations & Acceptance

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

Quotations are strictly based on the quantities, specifications, and delivery details provided at the time of enquiry.

Orders are only deemed accepted once confirmed in writing by RAW via an Order Acknowledgement.
4. Prices & VAT
-
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, which will be applied at the prevailing rate.

Any changes in material or manufacturing costs may result in a revised quotation prior to order confirmation.
5. Images & Product Representation
-
Product imagery and renderings are illustrative only and do not constitute a specification.
-
For bespoke items, technical drawings or CAD visuals will be required, either supplied by the customer or provided by RAW at an additional charge.
6. Lead Times
-
Standard lead times are a minimum of 12 weeks for production, subject to capacity and material availability.

Lead times commence from the date RAW receives the cleared deposit and finalised specifications.

RAW will confirm indicative lead times at the point of order, which are estimates and not contractually binding unless explicitly stated.
7. Product Changes & Amendments

Any changes to product specification, quantities, finishes, or delivery dates must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of Order Acknowledgement.

After this period, changes may:
-
- Be rejected at RAW’s discretion
-
- Incur additional costs
-
- Extend lead times
-
- Require revised drawings for re-approval (for bespoke items)
8. Payment Terms
-
50% non-refundable deposit is required upon order confirmation before any production commences.Remaining 50% balance is payable within 30 days of delivery.

Goods remain the property of RAW until payment is received in full.

Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
9. Delivery
-
Delivery is charged in addition to the product price unless otherwise stated.
-
Delivery times and dates are estimates. RAW accepts no liability for delays caused by third-party couriers, force majeure, or supply chain disruption.

If a specific delivery date is supplied by the client any change/ delay in delivery date must be provided to RAW 6 weeks ahead of the scheduled delivery date.

RAW will only hold products for a maximum of 2 weeks passed the agreed delivery date, after this point, it is the client's responsibility to find appropriate storage for the items.

The client must ensure the delivery site is accessible and prepared for unloading. Failed delivery due to site inaccessibility may incur a re-delivery charge.
10. Installation
-
Installation services are not included unless specified in the quotation.

Where RAW installs products, any issues must be reported within 48 hours of completion.

11. Product Tolerances & Material Disclaimer
-
Natural variations in materials such as timber and powder-coated metals are inherent and will not be considered defects.

Outdoor furniture may weather over time. Customers should follow RAW’s care guidelines to maintain product longevity.
12. Bespoke Items
-
Bespoke products are made to order and cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production begins.

Full customer approval (in writing) is required on all technical drawings or design visuals before production.
-
RAW will not be held liable for errors resulting from customer-supplied information or approvals.
13. Warranty
-
All products carry a 5-year manufacturing warranty, covering material or manufacturing defects under normal use.

The warranty excludes: - Wear and tear - Vandalism, misuse, or neglect - Improper installation by third parties - Weathering of untreated or incorrectly maintained outdoor items
14. Returns & Cancellations
-
Standard range products may be returned or cancelled only with RAW’s prior written agreement and may incur a restocking fee.

Bespoke items are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has commenced.

All returns must be in original condition and packaging, and return delivery is at the buyer’s cost unless agreed otherwise.
15. Liability
-
RAW shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, contracts, or goodwill.

In any event, RAW’s total liability shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods in question.
16. Force Majeure
-
RAW shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: strikes, delays in raw material supply, transport disruption, or government restrictions.
17. Intellectual Property
-
All designs, visuals, and technical drawings remain the intellectual property of RAW Workshop unless agreed otherwise in writing.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
-
These terms shall be governed and interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales.
-
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
