How we get the information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the
following reasons:
Employment with RAW Workshop
You have been referred into RAW from an outside agency
You have placed an order or requested a service from RAW.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing
this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting

(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a vital interest.
(e) We need it to perform a public task.

What we do with the information we have
We use the information that you have given us in order to;
To ensure recruitment and human resource compliance
To create an effective employment history
To assist the company to complete relevant risk assessments
To ensure the safety of all employees, contractors, volunteers and young people
To communicate with customers effectively
We may share this information with;
Referring agency (Young people & Volunteers)
Our HR advisor company & payroll company (Moorepay)
Pension providers (Peoples pension)
Police/ ambulance service if required
Management personal within RAW
How we store your information
Your information is securely stored;
Customer information is stored electronically within our accounting system (Xero)
Employee & volunteer information is stored in our locked HR filling cabinet (Paper based)
Young people information is stored on our online network (Google Drive) (Electronically)
We keep all personal information for employee’s, young people and volunteers continually whilst
engaged in our service or employment, data will then be deleted after 12 months, unless ongoing
cases require, we store the data for longer periods. These circumstances will be by request only
with records noted.
We keep all personal information for customers for the period of product warranty, if a service is
provided all data will be removed after 12 months from the last point of order. Any financial
information (e.g invoices, bank details, account information) will be retained for 7 years.
We will then dispose your data by deleting all information, if stored electronically or by shredding if
data is collected by paper.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have
one month to respond to you.
