Our Mission and Impact

RAW is Europe’s largest commercial furniture manufacture and circular economy service provider with unbeatable social value built-in as standard. 75% of our amazing colleagues have fought, and won, against some of life’s toughest challenges. We also operate RAW Potential, our dedicated youth charity supporting over 100 children a year who are facing multiple challenges.

What is the meaning of social impact built in?

We make high-quality furniture products and deliver class-leading commercial services. 75% of our amazing workforce have fought, and won, against the odds.

Alongside our highly skilled production and refurbishment team, we deliver a dedicated training programme that provides a supported environment for individuals re-entering the workforce.

Our trainees work alongside experienced colleagues, developing practical skills in furniture making, refurbishment, and maintenance. Throughout the programme, they build confidence in essential soft skills while gaining a strong understanding of health and safety practices in the workplace.

We empower our clients and customers to confidently make procurement & purchasing choices that drive quantitative social & environmental value, simply by purchasing their furniture with RAW.

In addition to this, our commercial services also support our youth programme, RAW potential.

RAW Potential.

RAW Potential was established in 2019 from our drive to support people at an earlier stage in their life. Enabling our young people to recognise their true potential, smashing through any perceived barriers to achieve their goals.

This started as a mentoring service and therapeutic workwork sessions based on a bench in our main workshop. Working closely with schools, Thames valley police and the NHS, RAW potential has now grown into a fully accredited alternative education provision and outreach services that span Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

We have engaged with over 158 young people, totalling over 16,000 hours of engagement

(2025)

Our young people achieved an overall pass rate of 92% in Functional skills

(2025)

100% of students enrolled achieved a qualification in working skills for life.
